The service was friendly and attentive, which, sadly, isn’t something you find in every cafe these days. I think people often forget that family-run businesses are exactly that—run by families! “ First time at Corner and Bloom and will go back. The place is small and cozy, we were seated straight away but took a while for our food to arrive but it was a busy Sunday afternoon so it was expected. The food was delicious and there are a few vegetarian choices which was great for us ”
“ Came here for a Sunday breakfast. No booking facility and it was fairly busy but got a table straight away. Can't complain about the food or service but beware the parking outside. Unbeknown to myself there is a parking restriction outside and I ended up with a 60/100 fine for over staying my visit which has left a mark on visiting again. I know it's not the restaurants fault and I never noticed any signs but these things are taken into consideration for future visits. ”
“ I ordered a Turkish eggs, which came with yogurt feta chilli oil, two poached eggs and sourdough bread. I feel like it was missing some seasoning to make it a traditional Turkish eggs, but maybe it was there take on it. I also ordered a dark chocolate hot chocolate that I wasn’t a fan of. The chocolate sunk to the bottom even when stirring so you mostly got milk then intense chocolate. It was very busy so clearly the locals are a fan, however this did mean a long wait and that it was quite a hard time flagging down the waitstaff. I think they may need one more person during their busier periods. It was also very loud and quite difficult to hear in the small cafe, I think they would benefit from some sound absorbers. I liked the vibes of this place and would be up for coming back to try their lunch or dinner menu. ”
“ The atmosphere with interior design is amazing. The staff were very sweet too. Pancakes were big and delicious, only complaint is that there was very little maple syrup and it tasted very cheap (very sweet for maple syrup). Overall, I enjoyed the experience and will be back if I can. ”
